Byron Preiss Productions published a comic adaptation of Nine Princes in Amber and The Guns of Avalon, each in three parts at $6.95 an installment.
Jack Kirby, a cartoonist, did some sketches based on Lord of Light, in preparation for a movie and theme park based on the book. Issue #11 of The Jack Kirby Collector features these sketches and an interview with Barry Ira Geller, with whom Kirby worked on the project.
