Humorless and tough, Dalt suits very well his image as a cold-blooded professional mercenary. Dalt's mother, a militant religious fanatic responsible for the desecration of verious Unicorn shrines throughout Amber and adjacent Shadows, was defeated and raped by Oberon. She died fighting Bleys years later. Dalt holds a very strong grudge against Oberon and he has vowed to destroy Amber as an act of vengeance for his mother's humiliation.
