The SciFi channel is producing Amber as a four hour miniseries, one of several upcoming projects. We'll have to see how well such a short treatment can pull off the complexity of Amber...

Diane Duane, author of the Young Wizards series, dabbles in amateur cartography. According to a Duane biography page, "one of her early efforts, a USGS-type map of Roger Zelazny's fictional city, Amber, hung in the office of the deputy director of the US Geological Survey in Washington."

Amber Based Fiction

Harvey Smith wrote an Amber-based short story and sold it to Phage Press. It's called "Aces and Eights".

Zachary DeAquila wrote "Max's Change", inspired by a character he was playing in the Amber RPG.

Ed Carmien wrote an ADRPG short story which was published in Shadis Magazine, issues 33 and 34. The story was originally run at DexCon 5 in New Jersey in the summer of 1996.
